What documentation do I need to apply for a pension?

You always need a copy of your DD214, or if applicable, a copy of your marriage license, children(s) birth certificates, and spouses and children(s) Social Security numbers.

You always need a copy of your DD214, or if applicable, a copy of your marriage license, children(s) birth certificates, spouses and children(s) Social Security numbers, plus any medical records on file.

Does your office make Veterans I.D. cards?

Yes, we make ID cards for Washington County Veterans who earned an honorable discharge. Be sure to bring your DD214 with an honorable discharge.

What services does Veteran Services provide?

We provide assistance for filing claims, help to locate and retrieve records, assistance for dependents of veterans, and answer any question you may have.

Do you provide transportation for veterans to attend their V.A. appointments?

We provide transportation for veterans to attend their appointments at Columbus, Chillicothe, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, and Clarksburg.

Do you provide any type of financial assistance?

Yes, we provide financial assistance to qualified veterans and their dependents in emergency situations.
